khaki and orange for this combination. when i was working in my interior design practice, i’d introduce my clients to “complex colours”; warm, muddied hues for restful rooms. i’ve juxtaposed some vivid oranges and greens with a middling khaki to rarefy the sun-shiny colours and elevate their effect while maintaining the calm.
