vintage florals & complex blenders *

this is yet another colourway based on my “Vintage florals” challenge entry. here’s one for folks who cherish ‘mint green’. i’ve layered the colour theme in a less than obvious way and added a dash of graphic complexity with several abstract repeat patterns, or blenders. “blender” is the term used to describe patterns that echo a reduced number of colours or motifs found in the “hero” of a fabric “collection”. as you’ve likely guessed, the “hero” is the standout design, usually the most complex and/or colourful.
