this is a scheme based on two separate Spoonflower challenges; the one entitled, “Thrift store treasures” and the other “vintage florals”. the two floral repeats are variations of the original designs I created in response. the designs don’t immediately suggest themselves as partners in the same scheme but part of my workflow incorporates experimentation within the series of mockups you see on this site. I like to mix things up kaleidoscope style and see what lands! my preference is for overall visual harmony rather than strict ‘colour co-ordination’. how do you feel about this combo?
